I'm sorry to have to inform all the fans of the comic but it is now abundantly clear the project will NEVER be finished. EVER. The illustrations for it will no longer be done by
as she has no time and when she does have time she prefers to work on older projects so it would seem she's lost interest in the project. Perhaps it makes her uncomfortable because it features a gay couple as the lead characters whereas most of her older projects are either straight Syao/Saku or with a genderbent Hien in ChoHien. She has expressed before that drawing gay couples makes her feel guilty of betraying her religion because she's catholic. But I can't speak for her thoughts on the matter. I don't know. I can only guess the reasons. All I know is I've asked her several times if she has intent to continue and had negative responses or none at all. For those asking if the story will continue in fiction format.... that is very unlikely. The whole reason I chose the comic/doujinshi format was that I am pisspoor at writing detailed chapters. Scripts with dialogue and basic actions I can do because they are like roleplaying which is also best done with simple to the point details and not too much floweryness. Maybe once when I was younger I could have done long waffly detailed stories but I've been rigorously trained through years of said roleplaying that giving too many details is 'boring' and 'nobody wants to know that shit' so I've learned not to go on and on too much with war and peace descriptions of things. Which unfortunately is essential to writing a detailed and longer than 2 chapters story. Put simply I no longer have any clue how to keep the audiences attention and interest and not churn out a piece of crap worse than Twilight. Every time I've attempted to write the story I've looked it over after writing and been all 'No no no, this won't do' and destroyed it again. Because it's lame and boring and wouldn't interest any of you. So yeah with regard to the comic it's dead. Deader than dead. And since I don't draw art anymore either don't expect to ever see Akuma or Mizu or Jinzou again either unless someone else draws them on a whim as fanart. They are on the shelf for the forseeable future. As I said in my previous diary I pretty much don't do jack on this site anymore except fave other people's stuff and very very rarely comment on it. Though nowadays I'm pretty much just commenting on
stuff and ignoring everyone else's. Because I'm ill-mannered that way. Sorry folks. Nothing to see here. Move along.
