Now for some birthday news. I had a good day thanks for all those who wished me well for it, although I did wake up on the day with a banging headache which has now turned into a cold but thats British weather for you.

Got some nice things on the day: New WT Album as described above as well as a DVD Player/Re-writer drive for my pc. Still attempting to get that to work though You know me and technology. We are not close friends.

Have also gotten a microphone and downloaded Skype so if you have it (and have a microphone of course) and want to chat add me as Miss_Sidhe. Please no perverts looking for cyber though, as I WILL delete you.

You may have noticed I've started doing some work on The List again. I'm not officially taking it off its Hiatus status yet as I don't want to go back to panicking about a deadline as that will destroy my desire to want to do work on it. So I'll just do bits at a time as and when I feel up to them. For now I'm working on and pieces and hope to have them finished and uploaded asap. But please bear with me as I said my muse is skittish and likes to flee if I pressure him too much.

I shall finish up now with a charrie questionnaire for a new RPG character I'm working on which was partially inspired by a character belonging to the lovely The questionnaire's format should be credited to I believe she's the one who made it....

1) What's your character's name?
Undine Sægola

2) How old is he/she?
18

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
Female but she has small boobs, narrow hips, short hair and a boyish figure so she's fairly androgynous.

4) What's his/her race?
Siberian Mermaid

Appearance:
Short silvery-white hair, cropped to just below the jawline with no bangs or fringe but messy face-framing tendrils. It tends to glow brilliant white under moonlight. As before mentioned she's got a boyish figure with no womanly curves although she's not exactly ugly and does have a rather pretty heart-shaped face with wide bright child-like eyes of a pale beryl sea-green hue. Her skin is pallid and generates its own coldness, being cool like marble to the touch but not as hard of course. In mer-form her tail has glistening iridescent scales like she's rolled in mica or that her skin has crystallized. Her fins have a pearlised grey hue to them and she has fin-like ears. In human form of course which is the most common, she's petite barely reaching 5ft 4 with a light agile build. In spite of this seeming delicacy of form, since she's a supernatural being she has more than her share of strength and is a skilled and accomplished fighter, both with weapons and barehanded. Her usual garb is a dark navy blue woolen tunic, black breeches and long boots, and a chainmail shirt. She also has the usual paraphernalia of battle a.k.a sword in scabbard, bracers, shield etc.

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
Depends on form and on the time-zone of this heavily populated area. Merform and yes she'd be something to shout about. Human form and she'd probably fit quite well into a medieval time-zone. Human form in a modern time-zone and she'd likely be regarded as some weird LARPer or Convention Geek.


2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Not exactly. Most of her siblings are your token stereotypical pretty-pretty mermaids. Undine being the polar opposite of this and detesting girlishness as well as having short hair totally destroys the stereotypical image of mermaids with long tresses for combing all day long.


3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Short hair, small frame, and a strong Russian accent. And the fact that she seems to be rather too fond of the F word.

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?
She has her charms aye. But it depends on the guy doing the looking as to whether she picks up a date or not. She's not really interested in doing so anyway.

Personality:

1) Temper:
She's blunt and good humoured for the most part, brutally honest and not bothered with cutting corners when it comes to the punchline. I.e. tactless as all hell. Her way of a friendly hello to people is to challenge them to a fight. The way she sees this is a way of intimately getting to know a person.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Nope not really. If she gets annoyed she just goes and beats something up and gets all her aggression out and then feels better.

3) Leader or Follower?
Leader unless her elder half-sister Ula is about and then she's a worshipping acolyte. In her opinion Ula is a goddess, and someone she's aspired to be like her entire life.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Spunkiness ^_^

History:

1) Does your OC have a family of any sort?
Yep. A cheating bastard of a father who ditched her mother when she got pregnant and went sneaking back to his other family, then when she went to him in desperation for help supporting their kids he called her a lying cheating whore and had her put to death. Her surviving family is Ula Sægola half-sister by way of her father, whom she gets on better with as Ula has always helped and supported the family mentally and financially. She also has two elder full-blood sisters Nerine and Delphine. Nerine is your typical pretty-pretty goody-two-shoes mermaid with long blonde hair and idealistic dreams about settling down with the right guy and having lots of kids (cue eyerolls ), Delphine is mercenary and to be frank a bit of a slut. She beds men, and keeps them wrapped around her finger until they've spent all their money buying her things and then ditches them and moves onto the next. They also have a cousin Thorn by way of Ula's father's brother (uncle) but they've not met him yet.

2) Is your character out on his/her own?
Yep. Nerine and Delphine chickened out of coming ashore so its only Undine who's seeking her fortune on land, hoping to become as famous and reknowned as her great half-sister Ula.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Having her father leave them, and then her mother die. She's never forgiven her father for that and probably never will. To some extent she tends to blame and mistrust all men as having ulterior motives because of this.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Meeting Ula for the first time when she was 10 and Ula was 16, and being taught a few fighting moves by her as well as being told about some of her adventures.

Romance:

1) Single?
Yep and not looking. But who knows if she might catch someones eye.

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Not yet nope. Unless you count being in love with a good weapon.

3) Virgin?
No comment

4) Does your character like flirting?
She's not the type to deliberately flirt and finds it annoying and sickening watching Delphine do it. But she probably does do things that might be concidering alluring in some guys eyes, although she usually doesn't intend them that way. Mostly since she has no aversion to nudity and likes to work-out topless. Guys tend to boggle at that a bit.

Symbolism:

1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
A killer-whale. Sleek and deadly when on the hunt.

2) Musical Instrument?
She doesn't have time for music.

3) Element?
Ice of course.

4) Planet?
Faerun.

1) Do you draw your character?
Not yet but I am working on a doll of her.

2) Do you write about him/her?
Again not yet.

3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs?
Planning on adding her to my current Faerun rpg.

4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC?
She's too new for me to have done much worshipping yet.

RANDOMIZE!

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
Criminally? No. She fights with honour for the most part and she's fairly law-abiding too.

2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
She doesn't really get on too well in hot conditions. It doesn't actually hurt her but it makes her feel giddy and nauseous and makes it difficult for her to concentrate. Aside from that she has the normal mortalities that any human would have.

3) Strengths?
She has physical strength despite her small stature being a supernatural creature and all, and she's skilled with almost any weapon imaginable (she's something of a weapons connisseur (sp?) and likes to try new ones out regularly)

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)
Smoking no. But drinking, oh yes. Very yes. She likes neat Russian vodka triple-strength on the rocks with LOTS of ice. She'll usually have enough of these to choke a horse and break into dirty songs about the Mother Land and then pass out

5) What's one quirk about him/her?
She's all quirk baby

6) Does your character have any phobias?
Nope. But she gets worked up easily and is very overexciteable.

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
Guys mistreating women, because it reminds her of her father and her mother and then she'll probably beat the guys head to jam.

8) Does your OC like chickens?
She likes to eat them if that counts?

The Final Question:

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
Again she's too new to tell yet and I've not played her. But she looks like she'll be fun, and different so I'm anticipating it eagerly.
