Yip. Maedhros again. I'm not overly pleased with how the colouring came out. Some of the hair smudging is a bit messy but I suppose its 100% better than my last disproportionate and frankly godawful attempt at this character. The sketch was nice in any case even if I did maul it with Photoshop. Nevermind. Perhaps I'll colour it again when I have more patience to do so.

Well thats because someone requested to put it in a group only today. Otherwise its invisible in the dark depths of my gallery. I should really delete all my old crappy stuff :XD:

And yeh a lot of people love the sig which is why I haven't changed it in 5 years :D

I really nice rendition of a brilliant character. I think the shades and colours that you've used are actually really impressive, ranging from the rich, earthly hues of his hair to the brilliant white light of the star upon his brow. I also like the sea-grey Noldorin eyes that you've portrayed, very much in-line with the majesty and beauty of the Eldar, especially in one so intrinsically noble as Maedhros. I perhaps don't picture male elves to be quite as effeminate, nor for their ears in general to be so pointy, but such information is made redundant by the fact that this is down simply to personal interpretation. Lovely work :).

Very nice :thumbsup: My Quedni don't have such pointy ears (if they have it pointed at all ;) ) but I don't mind it here.
I like his face and the whole idea, including eyeliner. Good eyes color and burning hair (although you made it better with Ambarussa).

:painter: So if you think the coloring is so bad why don't you improve it?
